Zhang Huan Exhibition and Chinese Contemporary Cinema at the Fundación Telefónica The 'Fundación Telefónica' is currently showing an exhibition of works by the Chinese avant-garde artist Zhang Huan. Zhang Huan is one of China's first and foremost performance artists, whose works generally focus on his own body, painting, moulding, covering, transforming, sometimes even torturing it. As he states, "The body is the proof of identity. The body is language." Meanwhile, in a room at the back of the exhibition, Chinese Contemporary Films are being shown twice a day. 9 June to 26 August.
